The Fae ascension quest is relatively simple (compared to Demon) - you just have to form a group capable of killing the [[Unmaker]] in [[:Category:Unravelling|The Unravelling]].   The Unmaker is found at the end of a short maze e/w of Mother Weaver.    The mob only takes damage from High Elves, and will automatically kill any non-hie which attempt to enter its room.   A group of 6 casters is usually sufficient, though additional help will be needed to get there.   The mobs in the maze before Unmaker also detonate gear, but the Unmaker itself does not.   The Unmaker will drop [[Faerie Essence|one item]] which must be in inventory when troika is completed to ascend to Fae.   This means that each kill of the Unmaker enables one character to become Fae.&lt;br /&gt;

The Unravelling maze has random exits, but the maze isn't too deep (4-5 rooms?) before you reach the Unmaker. Both the east and west exits from Mother Weaver lead to the first room of the maze. After that you can't go back to her room, so make sure your group is well regenned before leaving the safe room. In each subsequent room there's only one correct direction to proceed.&lt;br /&gt;

The Fae ascension quest is relatively simple (compared to Demon) - you just have to form a group capable of killing the [[Unmaker]] in [[:Category:Unravelling|The Unravelling]].   The Unmaker is found at the end of a short maze e/w of Mother Weaver.    The mob only takes damage from High Elves, and will automatically kill any non-hie which attempt to enter its room.   A group of 6 casters is usually sufficient, though additional help will be needed to get there.   The mobs in the maze before Unmaker also detonate gear, but the Unmaker itself does not.   The Unmaker will drop [[Faerie Essence|one item]] which must be in inventory when troika is completed to ascend to Fae. The Fae ascension quest is relatively simple (compared to Demon) - you just have to form a group capable of killing the [[Unmaker]] in [[:Category:Unravelling|The Unravelling]].   The Unmaker is found at the end of a short maze e/w of Mother Weaver.    The mob only takes damage from High Elves, and will automatically kill any non-hie which attempt to enter its room.   A group of 6 casters is usually sufficient, though additional help will be needed to get there.   The mobs in the maze before Unmaker also detonate gear, but the Unmaker itself does not.   The Unmaker will drop [[Faerie Essence|one item]] which must be in inventory when troika is completed to ascend to Fae.   This means that each kill of the Unmaker enables one character to become Fae.&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;If you need the key, you're in luck, in the gargoyle room is a fountain.  Drinking from it will take you to another part of [[:Category:Tarterus|Tarterus]], where [[Anthraxus]] and some of his friends hang out.  [[Anthraxus]] holds the [[Boots of Planewalking]], the [[Belt Of Souls]], and the [[Cold Iron Key]].  His room is sometimes particularly painful, so make sure you have a tank chain in place before you try to clear it.  Also, before you go, you need to pick one person (preferably a sponge :) ) to stay behind so you can portal to them and get back to the gargoyle room, where the entrance to the garden is.  Once the group is ready tell the head of the tank chain to quaff, and have the rest of the group follow.  Make sure someone casts a portal/nexus to the person who was left behind.  They can also quaff once the portal is up.  Also note that quaffing from the fountain plagues you, so it's good to have the person who stayed behind cast mass aid when they finally join up with the rest of the group.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

This section of the area also has a high concentration of [[Digger Demon]]s, which are very nice exp mobs.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

From here go all south, then head west.  Along this western path you'll eventually come upon a room to the south that looks like a gear room.  That's where the Statues of Tiamat and Anthraxus are. This southwestern section of the garden isn't particularly dangerous, so you shouldn't have much trouble camping if that's what you're into.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The [[:Category:Unravelling|Unravelling]] maze has random exits, but the maze isn't too deep (4-5 rooms?) before you reach the Unmaker.  Both the east and west exits from [[Mother Weaver]] lead to the first room of the maze.  After that you can't go back to her room, so make sure your group is well regenned before leaving the safe room.  In each subsequent room there's only one correct direction to proceed.&lt;br /&gt;

Then keep moving, you don't want any of these mobs to drain you before you get to the Guardian Specter((Translucent)(Demonic) A specter guards the tomb from scavengers, waiting) that holds the cross bow. Kill the Guardian Specter and claim the bow crafted of willow bark. He will cast &amp;quot;unrest&amp;quot; on you which will prevent you from sleeping or resting for around 15 tics. Then keep moving, you don't want any of these mobs to drain you before you get to the Spectre Guardian that holds the cross bow. Kill the Spectre Guardian and claim the bow crafted of willow bark. He will cast &amp;quot;unrest&amp;quot; on you which will prevent you from sleeping or resting for around 15 tics. If you surge 5 you may be able to kill him before he can cast it. The first part is safe, with no mobs. From the first room of the area go either ded4se or from kelsee go sssesdedes. Those are private rooms, and the last safe ones. Expect a lot of agressive wasps from here on. The [[Ghastly Wasp|unholy and ghastly wasps]] are invisible and demonfired, and are smaller than [[Irate Wasp|the visible ones]], but just as agressive. Some of the wasps - I noticed only the cunning wasps, but there may be others - are stabbers. One did *ERADICATING* through full AC and spells on a high level hero, so expect to die in this area even if you're experienced with the area. The best experience is deep within the hive, i.e. 4-5 rooms east/south of the left hand entrance to the mob area, or 2s, all east of the right hand entrance. Because a CR is very difficult here, you may want to avoid going too far if you're not a big hero or have no alts to do the CR, as the angels/Imms won't help.&lt;br /&gt;
