== Wizards in General ==

Wizards bear a number of similarities to their root class - [[:Category: Mages |Mages]] - in their skill sets and spellcasting-oriented mode of playing. As their help file indicates, Wizards receive higher average mana gains and lower hit point gains than Mages or [[:Category:Stormlords|Stormlords]]. They can also learn the [[Flash|flash]] spell through a Hero-level Rune book designed for the purpose, but will experience greater spell lag as a result of the spell being innate to the Sorcerer class. They also lose access to the majority of psionic spells available to Mages and Stormlords - notably [[fortitudes]] and the Bio Empathy skill - and their hlist (the list of their learnable spells/skills at hero) is considerably more specialized and streamlined than the comprehensive package available to Mages.

At the Lord tier, Wizards are a great asset to any group except those planning a gear run that is primarily or exclusively anti-magic (such as the Zarradyn's Gauntlets run in Arcadia, or parts of the Bodice run in Noctopia). Their high-impact area spell - which they share with Mages - combined with their high mana pools (averaging 27,000 at the time of morph with a ceiling of approx. 32.000-33,000 based on the race) and specialty spells (such as Wall of Thorns) make them ideal for gear runs involving multiple enemies, particularly of the large variety. However, from the standpoint of tanking, they are of no use to any group due to their relatively low HP pools and most crucially the absence of the rescue skill. Also due to these limitations, Wizards are more likely to die from painful area spells or sudden swarms, which can make their ability to lead groups more challenging. Mages, by contrast, are considerably sturdier, and can rescue weaker groupmates during emergencies. Moreover, unlike all other classes, a Mage's shield will never fail to discharge if hit by an opponent, which is a considerable asset at the Hero tier.

Overall, Wizards are a medium-difficulty class that offer an easier alternative to Sorcerers - who cannot cast the sanctuary spell on themselves, cast a meaningful area-attack spell, heal themselves (or others), or benefit from the protection evil spell - while retaining a cachet of firepower for the Hero, Lord, and Legend tiers.

== Wizard Creation ==

The wizard trainer, [[Threnadir]], mentions rather clearly that wisdom is an important factor of becoming a wizard.

'''Races need at least a base of 19 [[wisdom]] to become a wizard. Races with sufficient wisdom: [[Ent|Ents]], [[Gnome|Gnomes]], [[Deep Gnome|Deep Gnomes]], [[Centaur|Centaurs]], [[Tuataur|Tuataurs]], [[Griffon|Griffons]] and [[High Elf|High Elves]].'''

There is also a quest involved to become a wizard (See: [[Book Of Exorcism]])

If your Wisdom is too low, Threnadir will say 'You lack the wisdom. You will never be a Wizard. *tsk tsk*' If Threnadir says 'You would make a poor Wizard with such paltry arcane might.', you might need more mana. Wearing [[:Category:Lowmort 41-50 Mana Gear|mana gear]] will help out. 507 mana appeared to be enough on one occasion.

To actually become a wizard, you need to be at Threnadir and use the [[Prestige]] command.

== Wizards at Hero Tier ==

=== Training ===
The usual rules of training stats apply: WIS first, then INT and CON. DEX is of value in improving your AC, whereas STR is of marginal use.

=== Practicing ===
Wizards get to practice a repertoire of spells very similar to mages (disintegrate, acid rain, mystical barrier, charge shield, ward, amplify). However, wizards do have access to [[Acumen|acumen]], and (much less importantly) [[Timewarp]], which can be used as a poor man's [[Ablution|ablution]].

[[Flash]] and [[Rune]] can be learned from [[:Category:Spellbooks |spellbooks]] at hero tier, and this selection of (special) spells can be further expanded at lord tier. Although out-of-class for wizards, [[Flash]] is one of their trademark spells, and helps greatly when battling large rooms using area spells.

Notable hero skills and spells that wizards do not receive are psionic spells not exclusive to psi/mnd/bci (fortitudes, iron skin, etc.) as well as: sneak, move hidden, heighten senses, trip, parry, enhanced damage, rescue, time skip, bash, bashdoor, dodge*, third attack*, track, keyfinder.

<nowiki>*</nowiki> Wizards get these at lord tier, though by that time it's likely not relevant any more.

=== Worship ===

See [[:Category:Mages#Worshipping|mages]]. Identical applies to wizards for both worship and devotion.

Of note is that [[Flash]] if out-of-class for wizards, and thus it's lag is twice as long as it is for [[:Category:Sorcerers |Sorcerers]]. For it to be practical and useful against large rooms, it should also be fast. Atheist lag is 10 ticks, Shizaga decreases the lag to 8 ticks, and Quixoltan will increase the lag to 11 ticks (nearly 3 rounds) so its usability will suffer. For this reason it's common to have an alias that turns on quicken, casts flash, and turns off quicken. However, some races (tuataurs, dragons, ents, etc.) have more hp and racial armor, and thus have less need for flash – and they can afford the increased lag if they flash at all.

=== Fighting ===

'''Soloing:'''
While difficult at first due to small HP gains, wizards are at their heart, solo creatures. Since wizards get shield block, having a charged shield is quite handy. Unlike mages, stormlords and sorcerers, wizards do not get dodge or parry, thus making a charged shield even more important.

These are some of the popular areas for wizard solo play, with the harder areas being both more difficult, as well as more rewarding.

* Low Hero: [[:Category:Shadow Keep|Shadow Keep]], [[:Category:Tortuga Cay|Tortuga Cay]]. These areas are simple, mobs are relatively easy, and can be brought down quickly using [[Surge]].
* Hero: [[:Category:Necromancer's Tower|Necromancer's Tower]], [[:Category:Ruined Lair 3 Of 5|Ruined Lair 3 Of 5]], [[:Category:Akrikto's Farm|Akrikto's Farm]]. The first two teach the new wizard how to use area spells, while the last one is similar to Tortuga Cay, however teaches the wizard independence.
* Super Hero: [[:Category:Exploration Outpost|Exploration Outpost]], [[:Category:Sun God Altar|Sun God Altar]]. Both of these require self-spelling, but offer 5-20+ mob rooms to take on at once, thus allowing for rapid leveling.

'''Tanking:'''
The lack of rescue is the primary reason that makes wizards solo creatures. Wizards will need at least one large hitter/healer who can act as a back up tank to rescue groupies.

'''Hitting:'''
Wizards, unlike mages, do not make even reasonable hitters (lack of second and third attacks, and enhanced damage). Thus, wizard's melee capabilities are virtually nonexistent.

'''Healing:'''
Wizards heal as well as any other character that can brandish. They do have access to [[Heal]] spell to be used in emergencies, but it is out-of-class, and thus slow.

== Wizards at Lord Tier ==

Wizards are the tops, bar none, for area damage at lord. With their large mana base and the spellbook 'Ether Link' (used to decrease spell costs in crowded rooms), they can deal a huge amount of damage when dealing with multiple foes, which regularly happens in '''gear rooms'''.

Unfortunately, this is balanced out by their damage and mana endurance against single mobs, where Mindbenders, Psionicists, and Sorcerers will all out-damage and out-last a wizard.

Unlike mages, wizards can not chaos channel their maelstroms, but they do have much larger mana pools to offset that.

Not having [[sneak]] can be annoying at Lord, but there are several good options for equipment to provide this (adding a [[Demonic Lapis Lazuli |demonic lapis lazuli]] to a [[Silver Chestplate |silver chestplate]] for example). Also some races have the [[Racial Sneak |racial sneak]] ability.

== Wizard Remort Options ==

Racial remort only. [[High Elves|HiE]], [[Tuataurs]], [[Demonseeds|DSD]] and [[Sprites]] are all solid choices, as they're excellent casters with above-average mana pools. Note that some of these races require you to be a wizard (using a creatable race) before remorting. [[Dragons]] are another good choice, but requires QP unless one remorts an existing Tuataur wizard. Note that due to low hp, sprites are a more difficult choice to play for Wizard.

The Getting Started page is just an idea that I've been wanting to work on for a while. I'm totally new to this whole wiki writing thing, so any edits on syntax and/or adding links would be appreciated.

I'm trying to keep it as concise as possible for the new players to just have a single, well-linked page to view in lieu of being bombarded with helpfiles. It is very much a work in progress. I plan on adding:

the rest of the in-game messages you'll see up to 51.
combat tips, useful aliases, et cetera. (the alias page still needs work. maybe an example or two?)

If you can think of other things that might need adding to it, or ideas for it. Please add them to my talk page :)

[[Category:Gameplay]]

Welcome to Avatar, Good Traveler! If you're feeling anything at all like I felt when I first found this wonderful addiction, your head is probably spinning and you haven't a clue where to start. Don't worry, you're not alone. The realms are constantly evolving, and there is always something new to learn. My goal in writing this is to provide a quick, simple reference to a lot of little tidbits people wished they knew when they started playing here.

As a new player, there are a few basic rules to keep in mind:

1) This is a family mud. Foul and abusing language will not be tolerated on public channels

2) Player killing is not allowed, and kill stealing is very frowned upon.

3) Harassment of any kind is not tolerated

4) Cheating in any form will be dealt with severely (See also: [[Loopholes]])

They are pretty much common sense. Be kind and respectful, make friends...that sort of thing.

I strongly suggest that as you begin to feel your way around, you ask lots of questions. Use nchat often. Be vocal. There is a very large and helpful community of players here, with many different points of view. Don't be afraid to ask for opinions or help and try different methods. Also, I feel it is very important to learn ''how'' to do something instead of asking to have it done for you. It will pay off in the long run.

The commands are very intuitive once you get the hang of things, and the help files are very extensive. However, if you are new to mudding altogether, or feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of commands, the value of the Mudschool cannot be overstated. It will take about 10-15 minutes to walk through the most basic commands and how to begin your adventuring days.

== Starting out ==
To begin with, type ''score'' to see all kinds of helpful information about yourself. The first thing you're going to want to do is to train your [[Wisdom]]. Wisdom determines how many practice points you will receive at each level. Second to wisdom, [[Intelligence]] and [[Constitution]] are also very important. Intelligence determines the amount of mana you will receive per level, and also determines how quickly you are able to use [[Practice Points]] to learn your class skills. It is a common practice to train up these three stats as fast as possible before focusing on learning a lot of skills.

== Gathering Gear ==
By now, you're also probably wanting to fix that whole naked thing and start finding some good gear! If you completed Mudschool, then you got a lot of very basic gear to start you out. Otherwise, you can find pretty much the same gear inside the Tree of Knowledge next to [[Nom]]. There are a few helpfiles you might want to check out. '''Help [[:Category:Level_Gear|Level Gear]]''' will show you a list of nice stat boosting equipment you might want to track down, and '''Help [[:Category:Meadow|Meadow]]''' will show you simple, ascii-based map of good areas to start killing things in, most of which will contain some of the aforementioned gear. This Wiki also has gear lists, including a '''[[:Category:Lowmort_1-10_Gear|Level 1-10 Gear List]]'''.

Keep in mind that you can wear items up to 3 levels higher than your current level, and use weapons (main and offhand) up to 5 levels higher than your current level.

== Healers ==
[[Nom]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 4. This is a good place to buy candles (along with the nearby [[Jim|Jim the Peddler]]) and other basic supplies. It is conveniently located in the center of the Meadow.

[[Sol]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 14. He is located in the center of [[:Category:Stonehall|Stonehall]], near many other useful services, such as a bank, [[Carl]] the trainer, an ent who will identify items for you for free until level 10, maps, and a safe place to rest. It is one of the first steps out into the wide world as you outgrow the Meadow.

[[Aelmon]] is the healer and default [[Recall]] after level 14. Aelmon is located in the middle of the city of [[:Category:Midgaard|Midgaard]]. The large city is central to the continent, and provides many services nearby, as well as faster access to many areas.

At any of the three healers, you can type '''list''' to see any items they may have for sale, or '''heal''' for a list of their services. All three will cast healing spells, [[Cure Poison|cure poisons]] and [[Cure Disease|diseases]], and [[Remove Curse|remove curses]] from you. For a price.

== Sanctum ==
[[:Category:Sanctum|Sanctum]] is a very popular social hub of Avatar. In Sanctum, there is a [[AVATAR's Donation Room (Sanctum)|donation room]] to possibly find some gear, an [[AVATAR's Sanctum Infirmary (Sanctum)|infirmary]] which is a healing and recovery room, as well as the location of many [[Spellbots]]. Many groups form in here and prepare themselves for battle. Gear gets sorted out, items traded, and many strange conversations happen in a safe place to sit idly and talk with friends. It is also a nice place to trade equipment between different alts, since multiplaying is not allowed (except on special occasions).

== Exploration ==
As you gain in levels, you will find yourself outgrowing areas you once hunted to extinction and watch your xp begin to dwindle. Exploring is key! There are hundreds of areas in Avatar, scattered and tucked away everywhere. The world is vast. Two vital tools to your exploration are the [[Areas]] command and the [[Where]] command. They will give you ideas on places to look for and tell you when you are in an area you don't need to be just yet. Don't forget to set your [[Recall]] as you wander about!

There is a tour guide in [[Stonehall]] northeast of Sol that will take you around to many areas for a nominal fee. He gives tips on how to find the areas as he takes you there. This is an excellent tool for at least getting an idea of where you should start looking around if you are feeling overwhelmed.

== [[Death]] ==
It's a part of getting bigger. Some days it's more common part than others. You will need to retrieve your corpse when it does. There are many ways to do this. Setting your recall often will provide you a fast way to get back to your body. However, there are a few instances that this is not possible. In that case, [[Speedwalking]] and/or creating an [[Alias]] are common do-it-yourself solutions to getting back all that precious gear you've collected. They work well for areas with [[Aggressive Mobs|aggie mobs]] and [[Cursed Rooms|cursed rooms]] that don't allow you to set your [[Recall|recall]]. If you feel like you may need some extra time to get back to where you just died, you can always try asking somebody to [[embalm]] your corpse for you. If you've tried and just can't quite make it, or can't even find your resting place to begin with, you can always ask for some assistance on nchat. Keep in mind that nobody is under an obligation to help you, and polling for help repeatedly is rather frowned upon by most players.

== As You Grow ==
As you gain in levels, more and more commands will become available to you, the information you see will expand, and the world becomes a richer and deeper place.

Level 2: Nchat channel becomes available

Level 3: Chat channel becomes available

Level 10: You can see a numeric value for your alignment on your [[Score]]

Level 10: You may freely [[worship]] any of the gods available and learn how they affect you

Level 19: This is the last level unworshipping is free, starting at 20 it will cost you practices

Level 23: Movement costs start to increase. They will continue to increase as you progress in levels.

Level 25: [[Herothank]] becomes available to you

Level 25: If you have practiced [[Magic Lore]] you should be able to see the duration of spells cast on you. Without [[Magic Lore]], you will see a general message of how long your spells will last.

Level 35: You can set the room entrance and exit messages

Level 51: Welcome to [[Hero]]!

== Developing a character ==
Now that you're getting a bit bigger, perhaps you want to develop and express a persona for your character. A [[description]] will create a blurb about yourself for others to read when they look at you. [[Playerinfo]] is a less obtrusive way to sharing stories, laughter, brag about stats, whatever you want it to be. Eventually, you can customize the message people see as you enter and exit a room. While role-playing is not enforced, it is always encouraged, for your enjoyment and the entertainment of those you meet. [[Socials]] are nice quick commands that add a bit of depth and humor to your interactions with people (and mobs!). [[Title]] is another command you can use to describe yourself, or even create a surname.

While role-playing is not enforced, it is always encouraged, for your enjoyment and the entertainment of those you meet.

== Starting out ==
To begin with, type ''score'' to see all kinds of helpful information about yourself.

== Gathering Gear ==

Keep in mind that you can wear items up to 3 levels higher than your current level, and use weapons (main and offhand) up to 5 levels higher than your current level.

== Healers ==

== Sanctum ==

== Exploration ==

== [[Death]] ==

== As You Grow ==

== [[Death]] ==

== As You Grow ==

Level 25: [[Herothank]] becomes available to you
Level 25: If you have practiced [[Magic Lore]] you should be able to see the duration of spells cast on you.

Level 35: You can set the room entrance and exit messages

Level 51: Welcome to [[Hero]]!

== Developing a character ==

== Starting out ==
To begin with, type ''score'' to see all kinds of helpful information about yourself.

== Gathering Gear ==

Keep in mind that you can wear items up to 3 levels higher than your current level, and use weapons (main and offhand) up to 5 levels higher than your current level.

== Healers ==

== Sanctum ==

== Exploration ==
Many groups form in here and prepare themselves for battle. Gear gets sorted out, items traded, and many strange conversations happen in a safe place to sit idly and talk with friends. It is also a nice place to trade equipment between different alts, since multiplaying is not allowed (except on special occasions).

== Exploration ==

== [[Death]] ==

== As You Grow ==
As you gain in levels, more and more commands will become available to you, the information you see will expand, and the world becomes a richer and deeper place.

Level 3: Chat channel becomes available

Level 10: You can see a numeric value for your alignment on your [[Score]]

Level 25: [[Herothank]] becomes available to you

Level 35: You can set the room entrance and exit messages

== Developing a character ==

Shadowfists trade some good skills for their evil ones. Gain: a lifesteal and critical strike attack as well as rogue flee skills. Lose: all healing, status abnormality cure, and awen spells, also notably they lose arrow dodge. They don't get bear stance or transfer life. Also to take advantage of their hero101 skills they must train demonic intent which keeps them evil aligned.
Be evil aligned, be a monk and kill a monk in [[:Category:Sir Michael's Stronghold|Sir Michael's Stronghold]], not saying which as that would make it too easy.
There might be other things you need (EG: certain stats like int etc) but this works for a human monk. [[Kzinti]] is confirmed as a viable race, as is [[Human]] and [[Gnome]]. You must have 18 int.
Take advantage of your different stances as much as possible. I like to use emu stance in while my hp are at full, and start combat with a surprise attack, then kick like crazy. After losing 500-1000 hp, I will usually switch to vampire fang stance and start using vs in combat. Spectral stance is useful in areas where the mobs seem to parry more than usual.

Also, I have created a page for the DC Quests. PLEASE DON'T ADD SPOILERS AND INFO ABOUT IT! I have been specifically asked not to do that by Kasab (had no intention of doing that), who was proud of the fact that he didn't have one. I only copied the in-game helpfile, and created it solely to prevent some other schmuck out there from ruining it for anybody else.

That's it for now I think.

== Starting out ==
To begin with, type ''score'' to see all kinds of helpful information about yourself. The first thing you're going to want to do is to train your [[Wisdom]]. Wisdom determines how many practice points you will receive at each level. Second to wisdom, [[Intelligence]] and [[Constitution]] are also very important. Intelligence determines the amount of mana you will receive per level, and also determines how quickly you are able to use [[Practice_Points]] to learn your class skills. It is a common practice to train up these three stats as fast as possible before focusing on learning a lot of skills.

== Gathering Gear ==
'''Help Level Gear''' will show you a list of nice stat boosting equipment you might want to track down, and '''Help Meadow''' will show you simple, ascii-based map of good areas to start killing things in, most of which will contain some of the aforementioned gear.

== Healers ==
[[Nom]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 4. This is a good place to buy candles (along with the nearby [[Jim]] the Peddler) and other basic supplies. It is conveniently located in the center of the Meadow.

[[Sol]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 14. He is located in the center of Stonehall, near many other useful services, such as a bank, [[Carl]] the trainer, an ent who will identify items for you for free until level 10, maps, and a safe place to rest. It is one of the first steps out into the wide world as you outgrow the Meadow.

[[Aelmon]] is the healer and default [[Recall]] after level 14. Aelmon is located in the middle of the city of Midgaard. The large city is central to the continent, and provides many services nearby, as well as faster access to many areas.

At any of the three healers, you can type '''list''' to see any items they may have for sale, or '''heal''' for a list of their services. All three will cast healing spells, cure poisons and diseases, and remove curses from you. For a price.

== Sanctum ==

== Sanctum ==
Sanctum is a very popular social hub of Avatar. In Sanctum, there is a donation room to possibly find some gear, an infirmary which is a healing and recovery room, as well as the location of many [[Spellbots]]. Many groups form in here and prepare themselves for battle. Gear gets sorted out, items traded, and many strange conversations happen in a safe place to sit idly and talk with friends. It is also a nice place to trade equipment between different alts, since multiplaying is not allowed (except on special occasions).

== Exploration ==

== [[Death]] ==
They work well for areas with aggie mobs and cursed rooms that don't allow you to set your recall.

== As You Grow ==

== Developing a character ==

== Starting out ==
To begin with, type ''score'' to see all kinds of helpful information about yourself.

== Gathering Gear ==
'''Help Level Gear''' will show you a list of nice stat boosting equipment you might want to track down, and '''Help Meadow''' will show you simple, ascii-based map of good areas to start killing things in, most of which will contain some of the aforementioned gear.

== Healers ==
[[Nom]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 4. This is a good place to buy candles (along with the nearby [[Jim]] the Peddler)and other basic supplies. Conveniently located in the center of the Meadow.
Sets your title to a given string.
The game supplies a title when your character is created. You can use TITLE to set your title to something else. This title is seen beside your name on the who list, and it normally appears beside your name when a player "looks" in a room.
Titles are subject to our language policy and are limited to 50 characters, include color codes.

If you're feeling especially uncreative, you can always type "title" without offering any suggestions of your own. You will find yourself with a new, shiny, and possibly intelligible title all of your own!

== Starting out ==
The first thing you're going to want to do is to train your [[Wisdom]].

== Gathering Gear ==
'''Help Level Gear''' will show you a list of nice stat boosting equipment you might want to track down, and '''Help Meadow''' will show you simple, ascii-based map of good areas to start killing things in, most of which will contain some of the aforementioned gear.

== Healers ==
[[Nom]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 4. This is a good place to buy candles (along with the nearby [[Jim]] the Peddler)and other basic supplies. Conveniently located in the center of the Meadow.

== Sanctum ==

== Exploration ==

== [[Death]] ==
They work well for areas with aggie mobs and cursed rooms that don't allow you to set your recall.

== As You Grow ==

== Developing a character ==

You can, however, pick a level range you desire to see. So if you were to type 'area 5 10', only the areas that are suggested for levels 5 through 10 will appear.
While not strictly necessary in the earlier stages of your development, you'll find them indispensable as you grow. They are not staff, or related to the immortals of Avatar in any way, but are players who choose to give their time and mana to help you progress. Please treat them kindly :)

== Starting out ==
The first thing you're going to want to do is to train your [[Wisdom]].

== Gathering Gear ==
'''Help Level Gear''' will show you a list of nice stat boosting equipment you might want to track down, and '''Help Meadow''' will show you simple, ascii-based map of good areas to start killing things in, most of which will contain some of the aforementioned gear.

== Healers ==
[[Nom]] will be your healer and default [[Recall]] until level 4. This is a good place to buy candles (along with the nearby [[Jim]] the Peddler)and other basic supplies. Conveniently located in the center of the Meadow.

== Sanctum ==

RECALL is a command that will transport you to a preset destination. There is a downside, however. Recalling costs some of your movement points. If you RECALL during combat, you will lose experience (more than for fleeing), and you will have a chance of failing (again, more than for fleeing). A player can not recall while cursed.

RECALL SET "sets" your recall to the room you are currently in. This essentially changes your recall point to this new location. Although not every room will not allow you to set your recall to it.

RECALL RESET resets your recall as follows:
Levels 1-4 resets to [[Nom]] in the center of the Meadow.
Levels 5-14 reset to [[Sol]] in Stonehall.
Levels 15+ reset to [[Aelmon]] in Midgaard.
RECALL LOCATION or RECALL SHOW tells you where your recall is set.

Alas, Death comes for us all. More than once. The first thing to remember when this happens is: '''Don't Panic! '''

When your character dies, you end up naked as the day you were born, sitting on a cloud somewhere above the world.

[[Nom]] is directly down from you
[[Aelmon]] is to the east
[[Sol]] is west.

You receive a ball of light upon death, so you aren't forced to wander in the dark back to your corpse. Your corpse is left behind in the room where you were killed, together with all of your equipment.

Your gold stays with you up to level 10, and then also remains in your corpse upon death.

Following and groups are not affected by death, however any spells which were affecting you are cancelled by death. Also, you will lose experience points for dying. The amount you lose is roughly half-way back to the beginning of your level, though [[Worship]] can have an affect.

'''Corpses decay after time''', leaving your gear open for any who wander into the room. As soon as that happens, that equipment is no longer officially yours. The only exceptions are owned items, which other players will not be able to save with. Again, Don't Panic! Player corpses last roughly 15 minutes of real time. Only the player who died, or an Immortal, can retrieve objects from a player's corpse. To retrieve items from your own corpse, type 'get all <yourname>' or 'get all pccorpse'.

If you are a new player here, there will be a spirit hovering above your corpse to help you find it. It will be there as long as your corpse is, and it provides light in the room, so you will be able to collect your belongings.

Any items that Tul-Sith gives to you on death will only last a short period of time - it exists only to get you back to your corpse. Once the time period is up, the gear will be taken by an imp, right out of your hands!
