Prerequisites: none
Syntax: stance column

While in column formation, covering fire from the backline provides an
opporunity for those at the front to attack. The group leader ignores any
melee penalty incurred by their ranged weapon type. Non-leaders in column
formation do not gain any special benefit, but if none are present, the
leader will not benefit either.

Like all Soldier stances, this skill ends if you are magically transported.

The groupstat command will display which of your group-mates in your current
room are in which formation.
